Under auspices of Prof. Ahmed Ghallab – University President_ and Prof. Rady Abdel-Magid Taha – Faculty dean, the Music Education Choir team led by Prof. Mohamed Rashed – Head of the Department of Music Education – is preparing to participate in the events of the African Universities Youth Week organized by Aswan University for the first time. Once within the framework of President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi declaring Aswan is the capital of African youth, whereas the choir will participate in the participating teams’ carnival, which will start at 4:00 pm on Sunday 30/10/2019 from Aswan Station Square to Ferial Park, followed by the opening ceremony at the Sports Stadium, The Academic staff of the Department of Music Education will also participate in the arbitration committees for artistic activity competitions that include solo singing and playing instruments.
