An introductory seminar in cooperation with the Enterprise Development Agency in Aswan

Under the auspices of Prof. Mohamed Abdel-Hamid Rashid, Dean of the Faculty, and the supervision of Prof. Rajaa Ali Abdel-Aleem, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Affairs and Environment Development.

The Community Service and Environment Development Sector at the Faculty, in cooperation with the Enterprise Development Agency in Aswan, organized an introductory seminar entitled “Small, Medium and Micro Enterprises” for students of the third and fourth years. The seminar was attended by representatives of the Enterprises Agency in Aswan, Mr. Muammar Kazafi Saad El-Din and Mr. Ahmed El-Adly. Prof. Raja Abdel-Alim, the Faculty Vice Dean for Environment Affairs and Community Service, stated that this seminar aimed at how to benefit from the agency’s financial and non-financial services, incentives and facilities related to the Entrepreneurship Law. His Excellency added that the seminar also aimed to educate students about the importance of small and micro enterprises and their role in promoting the national economy, in addition to their importance in preparing a generation with the ability to compete and be entrepreneurs. The agency’s representatives confirmed during the seminar that the Projects Agency, through its various services, seeks to provide new opportunities for young people by developing their small projects by providing the necessary facilities. They stressed that the agency also aims, through the development of small and medium enterprises, to encourage and spread the idea of ​​self-employment and link large industries with small projects and industries.
