On the occasion of the 81st cultural symposium organized by the leadership of the Popular and Military Defense Forces at the headquarters of Aswan University, the Faculty participated in this occasion with an exhibition of fine arts that was inaugurated by Major General Dr. Ismail Kamal – Governor of Aswan, Major General Osama Abdel Hamid Daoud – Commander of the Popular and Military Defense Forces, and Prof. Loai Saad El-Deen – President of Aswan University.
The exhibition included 57 artworks produced by students under the supervision of Prof. Sally El-Hariri – Assistant Professor in the Department of Art Education at the Faculty. During his inspection of the exhibition, the Governor of Aswan praised the distinguished and sophisticated level of the artworks for the many and varied meanings they carry, and Major General. Osama Abdel Hamid – Commander of the Popular Defense Forces expressed his admiration for what he saw of distinguished artworks that reveal promising talents. Prof. Loai Nasrat, President of the University, stressed the university’s keenness to sponsor talented people in all fields and invite them to participate in the activities and events held at Aswan University in order to encourage and motivate them to move forward in developing their skills and creativity.
