On Sunday, August 3, 2025, the academic session was held to discuss the Master’s thesis submitted by researcher Reham Ahmed Jibril Abu Al-Hassan, a teaching assistant in the Music Education Department at the Faculty of Specific Education. The thesis was titled “An Analytical Study of Some Musical Aural Identities in Aswan Governorate and Their Application in Teaching Arabic Music to Specialized Students.”
The discussion committee consisted of:
Prof. Amani Hanafi Mohamed Ali, Professor of Arabic Music at the Faculty of Specific Education, Ain Shams University, Chair and discussant.
Prof. Mohamed Abdel Hamid Rashed, Professor of Arabic Music at the Faculty of Specific Education, Aswan University, Member and Supervisor.
Prof. Ahmed Badie Mohamed Ibrahim, Professor of Arabic Music at the Faculty of Specific Education, Zagazig University, Member and discussant.
Prof. Bassem Zaher Botros – Professor of Piano and Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Faculty of Specific Education, Aswan University – Member and Supervisor.
Associate Prof. Ayman Mohamed Hassan – Assistant Professor of Arabic Music, Faculty of Specific Education, Aswan University – Member and Supervisor.
At the end of the scientific session, the committee recommended awarding the researcher a Master’s degree in Specific Education, specializing in Music Education, with distinction.
