In frame of implementing Aswan university plan headed by Prof/ Mohmamed Ghallab Mohamed _Aswan University president_ to combat corona virus particularly in applying e-learning system and working on uploading curriculums and daily follow up to all faculties for completing uploading all courses on University e-learning platform.
Faculty of medicine held a meeting in attendance of Prof/ Mohamed Zaki El-Dahshori _faculty of medicine dean and University Hospitals chairman of the board, Dr/ Mostafa Adam Al-Tiri _ Vice dean for Education and students affairs , Dr/ Abdallaa Mahmoud El-Ebaidy _Excutive manager of University hospitals, Dr/ Essam Abo El-Majd El-Sherif _ Head of Central Administration for Medical Affairs, the meeting covered the related topics of education process in frame of Directives of Prof/ Ahmed Ghallab _University president.
Prof/ El-Dahshouri said that they have accounted numbers of Interns, final year students and resident physicians of faculty of medicine and that for preparing and training them on ways to combat infection and deal with intensive care cases and also to follow up the disinfection and sterilization works carried out in university hospital
Prof/ El-Dahshouri emphasized that distance education is working well and all scientific courses have been uploaded for students on University website, academic staff is in contact with student, resident physicians, interns and final year students of faculty of medicine will be trained to deal with critical respiratory cases, intensive care cases and handling ventilators.
Prof/ El-Dahshouri stated that Hospital disinfection and sterilization works are in full swing and sterilization will be done more than once, noting that the results of medical staff samples who were in contact directly with the case have not yet appeared, and the reception and intensive care will be opened after the sterilization and disinfection works are completely completed and confirmed, and after the arrival of quick diagnosis supplies for cases, in order to ensure the safety of patients, medical staff and hospital personnel.
