Aswan University council No. 94 was held today headed by university president Prof. Ahmed Ghallab and in attendance of Prof. Ayman Othman _vice president for graduate studies and research, faculty deans and Dr. Mohamed Eid _Executive director of the university Information center.
Prof. Ahmed Ghallab congratulated the political leadership and all attendees and university employees on occasion of the upcoming Eid Al-Fitr.
The council discussed follow up the process of distance Learning by presenting faculties reports and ensuring that the research topics are fully presented to students, University council also praised the active role of Information center and communication network at Aswan University on the high level of successful experience and appreciates the positive interaction and continuous cooperation between the E-Learning officials and faculty deans to remove all obstacles and solve all problems which face students during entering e-learning platform.
The council discussed setting exams schedules for the final classes before holding the exams in July 2020 according to directives of Ministry of higher education and scientific research and the supreme council of universities.
Prof. Ahmed Ghallab stressed on the necessity of providing all precautionary measures for safety of students during exams, working on the safety of employees, Academic staff and limiting the spread of infection of COVID19.
The council discussed the suspension decision of some of Academic staff in faculty of medicine.
It also discussed several construction projects that take place in university campuses in Sahari and Aswan Al-Gadeda and in university hospital.
