Students in the Art Education Department continue to produce a number of artistic models as part of their first semester coursework, under the supervision of Dr. Asmaa Atiq. Third-year students completed the Kinetic Sculpture Puppet Project for the Sculpture course No. (3), which included several outstanding artworks. Prof. Rania Reda, Head of the Department, emphasized that puppet making is a distinguished art form due to its numerous benefits for students in developing imagination, ideas, skills, creativity, and increasing focus and attention. Prof. Raja Ali Abdel-Alim, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Environmental Affairs and Community Service, praised the artworks he saw, noting their contribution to building students’ character. He stated that this art form serves as a bridge between generations, transmitting heritage and ideas in an innovative way, while also keeping pace with technological advancements to remain a vibrant and contemporary art form.
