University Center for Career Development at Aswan University announces the first virtual forum for the Egyptian Universities

As accomplishment for the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research under the leadership of the Ministry Dr. Khaled Abdul Ghaffar on supporting the university youth and finding the real opportunities of work and linking them with the labor market, Prof.Ahmed Ghallab-Aswan University President declared that University Center for Career Development at Aswan University participates in the first virtual career fair that is held under the auspices of Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr.Khaled Abdul Ghaffar and supporting the heads of 10 universities.

Its events would be launched on Monday corresponding to 28 September 2020,the virtual employment forum for University Center for Career Development UCCD 2020 is considered the first virtual employment forum for the Egyptian governmental Universities which is attended by elite of businessmen and nearly 4000 students and graduates from 10 Egyptian Universities in 9 governorates from Aswan to Alexandria.

University President added we always seeks to update and development for serving its community throughout qualified graduates have the capacity on the competition at the labor market and contributes at developing their community, as carrying out for that the university adopts all the ways and new and modern means for serving students and graduates in light of a global crisis needs nontraditional solutions, so the university not only qualifies students but also increases their competition and career for helping them in getting job opportunities which would be counterproductive on the economic of Aswan governorate and the neighboring governorates and which matches with the goals of the Egypt’s vision 2030 to create jobs and enable the youth and the creativity.

Aswan University President explained that the virtual fair of the University Center for Career Development 2020 is an online fair through it the businessmen meet with students and graduates in virtual environment and use  chat rooms- teleconferencing-webcasts-webinars to exchange information on available jobs; the ones who look for jobs, students of the final batches and new graduates have to upload their CV and browse the branches of the companies and connect directly with the representatives of the companies.

The virtual career fair uses a dynamic platform that supports businessmen to free from the obstacles of the traditional employing operations by an online 3-D platform throughout the businessmen and the ones who search for job can communicate virtually which equal to the feeling of the direct realistic communication; the project of the university centers for Development Career which creates until now 15 centers that are funded by the American Agency for the International Development and Technical Support from the American University in Cairo throughout presenting the career and training guidance for free to block the gap between the university education and the needs of the labor market and industry.
