\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 In frame of the Faculty\u2019s community role to contribute to adding colors of art and beauty to Aswan, the students of the Art Education Department, batch of 2023, implemented the design of an art project at Aswan Sports Club entitled “Egyptian Heritage”, under the supervision of Prof. Rania Reda_ Head of the Art Education Department.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 The project was opened yesterday, by Prof. Mohamed Abdel-Hamid Rashid_ Faculty Dean_ and Dr. Al-Shafi\u2019i Saleh_ Chairman of Board of Directors of Aswan Sports Club. In attendance of Prof. Bassem Zaher_ Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Rajaa Ali Abdel-Aleem – Vice Dean for Environment Affairs and Community Service, Prof. Yaman Hassan_ Head of Department of Music Education, Dr. Sally Al-Hariri, Assistant Professor of Textile Printing, Dr. Mona Fathi, Assistant Professor of Ceramics, and Prof. Iman Abdel-Hamid_ Assistant Professor of Nutrition, a number of the supporting staff in the Department of Art Education, and the project students.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Prof. Mohamed Rashid_ Faculty Dean, confirmed that this artistic project, which was implemented by the students of the Art Education Department of Aswan Club, comes in line with the role of the Faculty and its mission towards society and the surrounding environment to bring out artistic works from the university\u2019s surroundings to the Aswan community to spread the artistic sense and contribute to the beautification of Aswan Governorate. Faculty Dean pointed out that the Department of Art Education implemented many artistic projects during the last period in various places in Aswan, stressing that the Faculty has an ambitious plan to participate in the artistic movement in Aswan, especially with the implementation of beautification and development projects in Aswan “the ancient city”, the capital of African youth and culture.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Prof. Rania Reda_ Head of the Department indicated that this project, which was implemented at Aswan Sports Club, combines in its design one of the ancient temples that was preserved by UNESCO, which is the Temple of Dendur. The design also included parts of the ancient Nubian house, which shows the consistency in colors and that the Nubian house has a distinguished artistic heritage.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
