In frame of the efforts of the state and government institutions to combat Corona virus, Professor \/Ahmed Ghellab Mohamed, President of Aswan University, hold a meeting today headed by him and in attendance of Prof. Ayman Othman – Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Faculties Deans and Dr. Mohammad Eid – Executive Director of communication and information technology center, to follow the uploading of the Academic courses on E-learning platform (on Line) in form of lectures through educational videos to explain and simplify the curriculums for all university students, through a distance learning system according to the directives of Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Supreme Council of Universities, and they discussed the difficulties which face student and academic staff  and how to overcome them and students can interact positively. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

  \u201cGhellab\u201d added that the university\u2019s plan for distance learning \u201conline\u201d is being implemented after creating a distance learning platform on university\u2019s server and about (23,500) have already been created entry accounts on the electronic platform, and from the total of (24,500) students at the university.<\/strong>           <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

And Prof. Ahmed Ghallab confirmed that, with his follow-up that (14,000) students were entered on the online platform in only two days, and this is a positive rate in applying E-learning platform. In addition to that the entrance to the platform is now calculated for academic staff to be available to them by the end of this week to combat Corona virus.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
