{"id":697,"date":"2020-04-16T16:08:02","date_gmt":"2020-04-16T16:08:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/spec.aswu.edu.eg\/en\/?p=697"},"modified":"2020-04-18T16:13:13","modified_gmt":"2020-04-18T16:13:13","slug":"minister-of-higher-education-announces-isesco-short-film-award","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/spec.aswu.edu.eg\/en\/minister-of-higher-education-announces-isesco-short-film-award\/","title":{"rendered":"Minister of higher Education announces ISESCO short film award"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Prof\/ Khaled Abdel-Ghaffar _ Minister of higher education and scientific research and head of the Egyptian national committee of UNESCO_ announced that the Islamic world Educational, scientific and cultural organization (ISESCO) launched ISESCO short film award within its initiative of (Distance Culture) inside (ISESCO house for short film).<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>The organization indicated that the aim of launching this award is to motivating creativity and discover talents and promoting a culture of peace and forming the digital library of ISESCO for short films.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\"><span style=\"color: #800000; text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Award fields:<\/strong><strong>\u00a0 <\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>(Drama \u2013documentation-popular heritage &amp; folklore \u2013Human values \u2013Health &amp; Environment \u2013Children films- everyday life in corona time \u2013comedy)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>The organization indicated that the award will grant to the best three short films as the following:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>First: $8,000 <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Second: $6,000<\/span> <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Third: $4,000 <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The organization has set many conditions for applicants to get the award including the following: <\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>The show time should be no longer than 4 minutes.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>The film should not have been presented in any competition before.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Humanity, religion and patriotism shouldn&#8217;t be compromised.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>The film should include a translation of one of the three languages of the organization.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>The film may be with natural sounds and music without speech.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>The nomination should be sent on the following e-mail:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"mailto:film@icecso.org\"><strong>film@icecso.org<\/strong><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>It is decided that the organization will form specialized arbitration committee to select the winning short films, the awards ceremony will be at ISESCO headquarter in Rabat.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Prof\/ Khaled Abdel-Ghaffar _ Minister of higher education and scientific research and head of the Egyptian national committee of UNESCO_ announced that the Islamic world Educational, scientific and cultural organization (ISESCO) launched ISESCO short film award within its initiative of (Distance Culture) inside (ISESCO house for short film).
