Aswan University celebrated headed by Prof.Ahmed Ghallab-Aswan University President, and in attendance of Prof. Ayman Osman-Vice -President for Postgraduate studies &Research Affairs and Dr.Mohammed Abdul Aziz-Chairman of the Classification Committee in the university and Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Energy on the occasion of Aswan University got the first rank in the British Times Classification for the 2021 year at the level of the Egyptian Universities and the position 401-500 at the level of the world for the second year in a row.
Aswan University President congratulated the people of Aswan governorate on the occasion of this new classification, wishing the continuous development and prosperity for Aswan University that serves the sons of Aswan governorate and the governorates of the Southern Upper.Prof.Ahmed Ghallab added the classification comes as the following:
Oxford University ranked first internationally, but Cambridge University slipped down to the third place. Aswan University ranked from 401 to 500 and is considered the first at the level of the Egyptian Universities. This comes as the harvest and fruits of the efforts of the university’s administration over the past years in the different research, educational, academic, construction sectors and fields and the extent of the university’s relationship with the surrounding environment and its social effect.
Prof.Ahmed Ghallab-Aswan University President said lately Aswan University ranked the first rank among the emerging Egyptian Universities that less than 50 years, throughout 2020 classification and inserting Aswan University in the place 101-105 globally ranked the first rank among the emerging Egyptian Universities that less than 50 years, he pointed out Aswan University obtained several of scientific and academic titles among the global universities, this comes as crowning for social, scientific, environmental, and research efforts that have been carried out by Aswan University until became a scientific and research edifice in Southern Egypt.
