University President Receives Journalist Dr. Mahmoud Mosallam

Within the framework of convening the scientific session to discuss a master’s thesis at the Faculty of Specific Education, Department of Educational Media, Prof. Loai Saad El-Deen Nasrat, President of Aswan University, received today, Wednesday,24/12/2025 the journalist Dr. Mahmoud Mohamed Mahmoud Mosallam, lecturer at the Faculty of Language and Media at the Arab Academy for Media and Technology, along with the members of the discussion and Judgment committee, at the President’s Office on the university campus.

During the meeting, the President of Aswan University affirmed the university’s commitment to encouraging researchers to conduct research and studies that effectively contribute to addressing contemporary issues. He pointed to the significant role of the Faculty of Specific Education—Department of Educational Media—in guiding students to study topics related to digitalization, its achievements, and its impacts on society. He also emphasized the importance of investing in modern technology in ways that serve the educational process and scientific research.

For his part, journalist Dr. Mahmoud Mosallam expressed his pleasure at participating in the scientific committee for discussing the master’s thesis, which addresses one of the media issues affecting children and youth. He expressed his appreciation for the researcher and the supervisory committee for addressing this important topic, which effectively contributes to guiding society toward understanding the impacts of digital applications on all members of the community.

Additionally, Prof. Hisham El-Fouly stated that the Department of Educational Media at the faculty places, among its top priorities, the preparation of a generation of researchers capable of keeping pace with the challenges of digital media through in-depth scientific research in this vital and evolving field.
