Today, corresponding to 22/1/2022, the Faculty choir, led by Prof. Mohamed Abdel- Hamid Rashed – Faculty Dean– presented a number of musical compositions and patriotic songs in front of Prof. Khaled Abdel-Ghaffar – Minister of Education and Scientific Research. and the heads of Egyptian universities during their visit to Aswan University, The Minister of Higher Education expressed his admiration for the lyrical and musical performances presented by the Faculty choir, which revealed promising talents in the field of music and singing at Aswan University. Organizing competitions for university students’ choir teams to give the winning teams the opportunity to present their performances in the City of Culture and Arts in the New Administrative Capital during the coming period.
Prof. Dr. Ayman Othman, President of Aswan University, emphasized that the choir of the Department of Musical Education became, during this period, a bright artistic sign in the university through the distinguished participation of the choir in all occasions in Aswan Governorate.
